can any1 reccommend a good tube combo amp 30-60 watts,that is good for playing punk/emo type music?
costing 300-600.

a valve marshall combo is always a good bet for punky music like a second hand jcm 800 or jcm 900 or a new dsl or a tsl but its not really the amp that defines good punk sound. you need any guitar with a humbucker and moderate distortion. it may be the case that you dont even need a new amp. kurt cobaine used a boss ds1 pedal in all of his distorted live and recording sounds and they can be had for very little money compared to an amp. |
