I have a Jordan Stagemate J130 (solid state) that I want to disconnect the speakers and install a output jack but, the speakers do not have a + or - markings, all they have are a RED dot on one side...is this the Positive?
Any help with this beast would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks. |

The red dot has always traditionally meant positive as far as I can remember. Exceptions are always possible, I suppose...... _________________ Yer guitar pickin' friend,

If you put a 1.5 volt battery across the speaker then if the cone moves forwards then the battery positive is the speaker positive too. |

Well, in accounting, the red means negative... _________________ "I love the smell of hot solder in the morning. It smells like victory." |
