| Ajay Tele, that is a nice looking Super Reverb. I always wanted one but was never able to score one. |

Hey thanks, this amp was my #1 pride and joy (and on display in our home theatre) until I bought the 40th Anniversary Marshall Stack. It does get played every now and then, but it will never be gigged!
The Marshall is too big to put in the home theatre though, so the Super Reverb will remain in it's pride of place there! |

My feeling is that it IS original, because it does have some very minor cosmetic flaws and also the appropriate amounts of dust in the "hard to clean" places.
Needless to say the tone of this amp is very warm and clean... |
Right on. The tone is really the reason why we buy these amp things, isn't it? _________________ "I love the smell of hot solder in the morning. It smells like victory." |

| Years ago when I was living in Texas a local musician invited me out to his place to check out his gear. When my son and I arrived and were walking around to his practice shed, I could hear Hendrix being played and done well. The tone was superb. He was playing a Strat through a Super Reverb. |

Well I guess I could just play a Limited Edition 50th Anniversary Tele through it....I'm not totally into stRATS!
But we digress...
Another favourite Amp (head) of mine is the 30th Anniversary Marshall Head 6100LM. A more versatile Msrshall head would be hard to find. With three channels and umpteen switches which allegedly allow it to emulate all previous Marshall amp configurations, it certainly is a great gigging amp.
I have two...

We've got a little sign on our PA that says, "It it's too loud, you're too old." _________________ "I love the smell of hot solder in the morning. It smells like victory." |

Two recent acquisitions for the Amp cave...
Fender 1965 Bassman 50W Head (original) & Marshall 1977 JMP 100W Head
Both of these are Tone masters, each in their own distinctive way... |

| AjayTele, I have an old Bassman head like that. It's hooked up to a vintage 2x12 Fender cabinet. I went through it to make it more guitar compatible. |

Currentlt I have it hooked up to a Marshall 1960A Quad. That sounds pretty good to me as well! |

Wow, those are inspiring to just look at! They must be wonderful to play through!
And hey, you're a little Guppy now, not a tadpole!
