Well, that was gonna be my second guess!
Those guys were into some serious volume during that era, weren't they? _________________ "I love the smell of hot solder in the morning. It smells like victory." |

Nice... I thought about the 45/100, but had NO idea, and even thought to
myself, that there wasn't a ri of the 45/100.
Stock with KT66's too!

I listened all weekend, and I didn't hear it, so he must not have cranked it! _________________ "I love the smell of hot solder in the morning. It smells like victory." |

Unfortunately not, it's still in the boxes. I have to get some friends to help me carry it upstairs to the music room...
Then there'll be fireworks! |

Oh yeah, I was going to post some photos of my other gear wasn't I?
Well, here's my (now) no. 2 pride and joy, amp wise.

Yeah, it's supposed to be a real one. I did pay quite a bit for it, on the basis that it was in such great condition and is a true collectable amp.
The only thing that isn't original is the footswitch, I think.
A couple more photos...

According to your tube chart stamping, "OF" = 1965, June. _________________ Yer guitar pickin' friend,

Phew, that's a relief!
I just don't know the dating stuff about amps and such, bought it on trust...
Thank you for that, Herb! |

That one is in phenomenal condition. I have a '66 Fender Deluxe Reverb that I thought was in great condition, but it doesn't look that nice! Wow!
Is that the original grill cloth? It doesn't look like it aged at all! _________________ "I love the smell of hot solder in the morning. It smells like victory." |

I bought it on the basis that it was completely original, although of course I don't know how you can ever be sure whether something has been restored or not.
My feeling is that it IS original, because it does have some very minor cosmetic flaws and also the appropriate amounts of dust in the "hard to clean" places.
Needless to say the tone of this amp is very warm and clean... |
