I have inherited a '65 Fender Princeton amp w/ vibrato ( no reverb channel). Problem is the volume seems to be the same whether the volume knob is set at 3 or set at 10. Sound is the same, clean. Does anyone have an idea on how to correct this? Or is this the way the amp was designed?
Would appreciate any input.

your problem might be found here..be careful if you mess around inside an amp--...and rather than doing it yourself, it's best to find a certified amp tech to check it out. Cool
