hi all of us

(first of all, sorry for my english, it'nt so better Very Happy )

I am searching for a new amp which would allow me to have THE sound punk hardcore and punk rock like the casualties, rancid, guerilla poubelle etc. (i'm searching a great fat distortion)

For the moment i have a gibson SG Faded,a fender mex telecaster, a line 6 DM4, a digitech grunge and a boss DS2

I'm searching a 5W all tube amp, friends have advice me amps like blackheart BH5-112,epiphone valve junior, ibanez vbg valbee or fender champion 600 (if you have ideas for others amps... Very Happy )

I hope you will understand my post and give me advices for my new amp, thanks a lot!!

I thought most of the hardcore/punkrock stuff was played through
marshalls & laneys and things like that? Any amp being 5W would be a
single ended amp as long as it used 'standard' guitar amp power tubes
(someone correct me if I'm wrong on that) so you might have to go up to at
least a 15-20W amp (either using 2 6V6's or maybe 2 EL84's... but I would
lean more twords the 6v6's in this case). This would fall more in line with
what I think would be your more 'traditional' punk sound. But then you
have the whole speaker selection issue too.. hugh!!
Just one cats opinion... good luck regardless.

15 or 20W will be too high, i've chosen a 5W amp for just playing in my room (i've got a fender 65W for little concerts)
