|
|
Hi all, new to the forum
I got a used Peavey Classic 30 a few months back, my first tube amp.
I still have the tubes that came with it inside but recently the amp has been making a high pitched noise for about 3 or so mins when i put it on and i have a feeling its to do with the tubes needing changed.
I have never done this before. Well i know how to put the tubes in and take them out but im wondering do i need to change them all or just some? |

It is best to just do them all, and replaced the power tubes with matched ones. That is the most expensive way, though. _________________ Yer guitar pickin' friend,

Initially I would change all the tubes at the same time. |
