Hey! Newbie here.
Son is asking for a Line 6 Spider III 75 amp for Christmas. The local music store says they're getting some in "soon". The sales guy tried talking my wife into a Vox AD30 amp, saying it had more/better features.
I'm thinking 75 watts vs 30watts? I think he's just trying to make a sale.
Any thoughts on the two amps. Any other comparable suggestions?

hiya dawg......personally, i like the vox--for a number of reasons....however..with only about a $50.00 difference, if its the line 6 your son wants-and you can float the bucks-get him the line 6.....unless of course you can get him to check out the vox to see what he thinks--who knows..he might like it
