| I've had a marshall half stack for a while. jcm2000 dsl100 watt head, and a 1960 lead 412 cab. the head and cab are 4 or 16 ohms mono and 8 ohms stereo. I recently bought a 1936 lead 212 marshall cab and I'm not sure if it can be hooked up to my existing rig. the 212 operates on 8 ohms mono and 16 ohms stereo. can this be hooked up? how? where can I learn more about ohms, mono, stereo? books? |

The easy way to do this is to double the speaker resistance. This would involve getting 32ohm speakers to replace the 16's in there now.
It just might be cheaper getting cabinets that are designed to have the right load. |
