Hello.. can anyone help?

Hello all,
im brand new here and have basically joined for advise.
Im about to put up a Marshall 100mghdfx with cab as i'm fed up with the one dimensional muddy tone i get from it. I'm planning to get a combo for around £400/500 ($900) that has much tone and is as versitle as possible.
anyone got any ideas?????

In that price range, I really like the Fender Hot Rod Deville.

If its tonal posibilities you seek, look into the channel switching amps. You might get more for your money on eBay.
