Hi, I'm new to this board and wanted to start discussions about the VTX120 stereo combo. I bought mine about a year ago and fortunately, shelled out the cash for the extended (Guitar Center) warranty. Don't get me wrong, I love this amp. I bought the pedal board to control my settings on the fly and am amazed at the tone quality and versatility.

I am having a recurring problem that I was wondering if anyone else has experienced. About three months ago, I had been playing at about half volume (not really pushing it hard) and when I brought the amp home, noticed that the right channel was gone. Guitar Center payed for the shipping and repairs at an independent site and it was returned in perfect condition. Unfortunately, last night I realized that the left channel had gone out. If you have one of these amps, you'll know that without both channels, the output is greatly reduced and the stereo effects sound all wrong.

If anyone else has had similar problems or anything else I should be wary of, please let me know. Thanks.

Sad I am having the same problem. I use the amp three hours a week at practice and I guess that's too much. the sound goes in and out, the volume goes up and down. read the harmony central reviews and many people are having the same problem.

I've got other amps so it looks like it's back to old reliable: the Fender Hot Rod DeVille and all those pedals. the greatest thing about the AD120 was not having to lug all those pedals. I guess I'll try to fix it like others on the harmony central site, then take it in for repairs, then ebay it when it's fixed. Confused
