just a note regarding your desire to replace your blown speaker.......personally, i wouldn't replace a peavey factory speaker with another peavey factory speaker...............for your money you can get a much more responsive, toneful, musical sounding speaker from an 'aftermarket' source ......i like the most recent offerings from Eminence speakers....for your applicatiion, perhaps >>>>

--of course there are others from Eminence as well as different companies like Weber & Celestion.
--make sure you purchase a speaker of the same / proper ohms as your amp is designed for (the same as the original speaker) _________________ ~T~...Live a little >crank it up< ...

The Scorpion 12" in my amp is 4ohm.. rated for 150W continuous.. I'm having trouble finding an alternative with these specs... |

give Ted an e-mail> ted@webervst.com <with what you are looking for & chances are he can recommend and have in stock exactly what you need at an affordable price --plus most are available in 4-8-16 ohm versions....
-every Weber speaker i've owned has been a big improvement over the original stock speaker--
