i just recently picked up an mg100 series half stack and this is the first stack I've owned. I was wondering if its a bad idea to simply plug the headphones into the front headphone jack on the head and leave the speaker/cabinet unhooked up to it so i can just play quietly in my room without disturbing my roomates. probably not good for it right?
Thanks. |

| nevermind, it says it right on the back of the head "CONNECT LOUDSPEAKERS BEFORE USE." I'm an idiot. wish i had read that before. what kind of damage could possibly have happened from me doing it? |

| Not having the head hooked up to a cab can fry the transformer, among other things. The longer you allow it to happen, the more likely that you'll damage the head. |

| Well, it wouldn't do anything if you had the Headphones in but. Turning it on without headphones or cabinets can damage it. |
