Hey all (first post!)
I have a question i need answering asap about my amp.
Basically my flatmates and I are throwing a party tonight but we don't have a decent sound setup. Some people want to use my guitar amp (marshall MG100DFX) to run ipods or CDs or whatever through.
Now even though my amp has a CD input, I'm worried about playing stuff at Party volumes for an extended period of time. Is my amp at risk here? I'm mostly worried about the speaker having to deal with too much bass or something from whatever people want to play. I'm no expert, which is why I'm worried. Should I be?

Me and my freinds do this all the time. You should be okay, but the sound quality sucks.
