Hi.

I have a Marshall 9100 power amp (50+50).
The problem is that it distorts the sound coming from one of the channels. I've tried switching all the tubes over from one side to the other, but it still distorts the sound on the same channel as before.
I've tried everything that has got to do with the "outside" of the amp...switching cords, trying differnt inputs, different pre-amps etc. etc.., but nothing helps.
The sound is a bit distorted and a bit louder on the "broken" channel than on the normal one. There also seems to be a bit more presence on the "broken" one.
This all started when one of my speakers desided to blow its voice-coil. I can't remember if the defect channel was connected to the speaker with the broken voice-coil or not. I don't even know if there is a connection between the two incidents.

Any guesses to what it might be?
I'm guessing something inside the amp is fried, but what?
