Heya Guys,

Got my new amp yesterday for christmas! Merry christmas to you all by the way! I have some problems/ Queries it could be either lol ok..umm

well only someone who has this amp or has used the amp or works for vox could answer this for me!

well basically its to do with the effects such as reverb and delay etc

Basically......
when i turn the amp on,
If the bypass is not on and I have the amp effect set on reverb, and on these different amp models like US Higain and UK 80’s there is still a delay happening even when delay is not selected on the effects(its as if it’s the default sound when being turned on). But when I then adjust the effects to another effect and go back to reverb the delay effect vanishes….it also only happens in preset mode, in manual it doesn’t happen, it also happens in my own saved sounds (eg/ I programmed channel two on US Hi gain with a reverb sound and the delay was still there.)…. is this normal?

thing i don't understand is, if it isn't normal and its faulty why does the delay only appear on 2 or 3 different amp models and not all of them? i'm sure its something i'm doing because a brand new amp can't be faulty but we never know!

any help what so ever would be appreciated!

Hello,

I am having the same problem and would sure like to hear more on this. If we are having the same problem then there must be more. I was going to try one out in a local store and see if it does the same thing. I bought mine over the web from North Coast and had the brown grill cloth put on.

Another issue I have is, my gain control appears to cut out at low level. If I turn my ing rotary switch a little to each side of the current amp setting it will come back at full volume. I am starting to get ticked as I really like this amp otherwise.

Sorry I could not be of any help but it was good to vent a little and see that at least one other person is having the same trouble.
