I just purchased one of the new Vox AC30CCs. I am having the Blue Celestion speakers installed soon. I have a few questions if anyone can help. I was a little disappointed that this amp does not have a footswitch to change channels. I play in a melodic rock/powerpop band and I need that change during songs. I use a fulltone fulldrive 2 pedal. I tried it on my new vox and noticed that the sound is kinda muddy. There isn't really any way to tweak the highs, mids, and lows on this amp for the clean channel, is there? I think the clean channel on this amp sounds great but with the overdrive is just not bright enough for me. Will the Blue Celestion speakers change this at all? What will the Celestion speakers add? I like this amp...the price, the look, the clean sound...but it doesn't seem versitale enough live and doesn't seem bright enough. Would I be better suited with an Orange amp? I play a fender strat and a rick 360. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appriciated!
