I've heard that converting a 6l6 equipped amp to 6v6's requires almost no changes, but can you go the other way around. Can a 6l6 amp (fender bassman) be converted to 6v6's.
1) do you need to lower plate voltages by a lot?
2) What will the different output ohmage do to the output transformer?
3)Will the secondary ohms, 8, be different because of the different primary ohms?
