xxx, or mode four

im planning on buying a new amp
my playing style is "nu metal", classic metal, and other varieties such as funk and blues. i want an amp that is versatile with good cleans and sweet distortion. which amp do you think is a better choice, the peavey xxx or the marshall mode four? thanks for your help

..well,i was die hard marshall..but it sounds like you want the jsx peavey like me..most nu metal freaks like the mesa boogie which i like for the heavy scooped crunch but in my opinion it is not as sweet as a hot jcm for the leads..i played a jsx peavey and this thing needs no modification or any over drive pedals .it totaly screams..it is perfect.the cleans on most peavey i have always liked but this thing is beautful and clear.i was not much of a 5150 fan but i really like this head.. think i am going peavey!!
