Hello Everyone! I am new to this forum, but I will probably be visiting frequently now that I am registered.

I am re-vamping my whole guitar setup, and I thought I'd come here and see if I could get some help from you guys since many of you are pros at this stuff.

I would like for a more genuine tone.... I am currently playing through a mesa triple rec and it doesnt suit my style anymore, as my band is more of a indie/rock band. I have always wanted to play through an AC30 - I play alot of mellow stuff and I also love the classic tone.... The only thing that I am unsure of is how I am going to do any channel switching, because you have to do it manually on an ac30, correct?

I was thinking that an a/b/y switch or ernie ball stereo volume/pan pedal might work out... panning from one channel to the other, but I don't know it that would even be possible... do you guys have any suggestions of how I may be able to switch channels mid-song during a live set? Is there any way?

I am actually planning on getting two combo amps and an A/B/Y switch... I would love to have 3 channels or more to work with because we have alot of diversity in our set... we play a style along the lines of early radiohead/far/foo fighters. I would also love to have an orange amp because I am a sucker for their distortion... do you think it would be a bad idea to have an ac30 and an orange ad30tc together?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated... thanks so much and I am looking forward to be a regular on this forum!
