My Vox AC30cc's power cable is gone, but i've been told the cable is universal. Is this true? If another amp cable fits and turns the amp on is it good to go?

Yes and No If you have a higher output amp than the cable can handle,you can slowly screw up the transformer Like some one stole my 100 watt Marshall cable and switched it with a little 15 watt Park SS amp cord.It would of worked for a while,and then fryed my transformer
