|
I am hoping to purchase this amp later this week. It's a guitar valve amp with 2 x ECC83's & 2 x EL34's...........(early 70's I believe....)
It works just fine and sounds awesome. Yet it has no plates Logo's or anything on it. I'm not really too fussed about not knowing really. It has point to point military style soldering/wiring. I think it could be an old Carlsbro or Hiwatt.
Anyway it only has the following controls.........
Hi/Lo sensitivity Inputs.....
Mains ON/OFF & Standby switches
Non-Master Volume
Bass
Treble
Middle
Volume
When cranked you get the punch & crunch from the Hi Input and lovely clean tones from the Lo.....
The questions I have are:-
1) What type/quality of pedals would I use to get this amp to produce some more modern rock/metal sounds?
2) Is it possible to also somehow get a footswitch to switch between Hi/Lo inputs? I have a boost pedal for solos.......
Any help with my querries would be greatly appreciated.......
Thanks _________________ Cheers

If it doesn't have distortion on it, (or any OD sound ) then It's most likely an acoustic P.A.
or a mic-in and output P.A. system. |
