hey, since 7 years i am the lucky owner of a fender tonemaster.
But now the last two years it makes a lot of "noise" on the clean channel.
It had it repaired, changed tubes, but a week later it was there again!
The noise sounds like the noise from a radio, where no signal is detected.
I already put it on other places but this didn't change anything.
Anyone knows what's going on?
Thanx! |

++ the noise only comes up after a few minutes... it starts at a very low volume but eventually becomes pretty loud.
On the overdrive channel, the noise is not heard.
As said before, all my tubes (power + preamp) have been replaced and biased but this didn't solve the problem... |

sounds like its time to have a certified amp tech check it out---perhaps a capacitor has given up the ghost ?--usually a simple fix for a qualified tech. _________________ ~T~...Live a little >crank it up< ...
