AD30VT noise ?

I just bought a used AD30VT in great condition. I love the sounds. However, even though I use the edit button to control the hiss, there is a slight static sound that can be heard as the sound fades. Like a small crackle, which lasts about 5 seconds. Could it be attributed to the house current. I haven't taken it to the studio yet. Has anyone else experienced this? Any suggestions would be extremely appreciated.

hi....just found this forum...i am having the same problem with my ad30vt. Also sometimes i get a lot of static when playing low notes (low e and a strings) that doesn't seem as noticible when playing higher up the scale.

doesn't happen all the time though...

thoughts?

I really have no first hand experience with these amps, what is the speaker size, make, and model?
