| I just got this amp recently and I really like it. The problem I"m havig is trying to get the efx loop to work properly. Now before I go any further I know nothing about how an efx loop really works. I just know the SEND and RECEIVE jacks should match the ins and outs of my pedals (SEND to the input of my first box in the chain and RECEIVE to the outpup of my last pedal...if that makes any sense). When I tried doing it, I do not get anything ouf the amp at all when my guitar is plugged directly into the input of the amp. I guess my first question is should my stomp boxes actually go through the loop or is that made only for a rack system? I plan on trying this again later during band rehearsal. If not, everything still sounds fine just daisy chainning everything from the guitar to the amp. Thanks, Richie |

You should have signal unelss you connected your effects loop to the pedals backwards.
Send goes to the in of your non dynamic pedals (meaning delays, flanges, chorus etc) and not compresors, wahs, distortions unless you want the mixed with your fx chain. _________________ Les Paul Studio (Wine REd)

| I also have the mg50. The effect loop works properly, but with some effects, it changes the effect completely (for example octave distortion). So it may be that the effect loop on this amp is a bit screwy. |
