| I am looking at a Fender Deluxe 90 DSP at Guitar World. Anyone know anything about these? They have built in effects, which I kind of like. |

| Strum, I spoke to a retired guitar tech a couple of weeks ago about this same amp. He was very impressed with the tone of the speaker. He told me he felt it was a very decent solid state amp. Supposed to be very well built. |

I don't know what this has to do with anything, but my son, who is a guitarist, was walking through a mall in Texas. He heard this great sounding jazz guitar being played, coming from a restaurant. He had to see what kind of high dollar amp/guitar combo could produce such a sound, so he went in. It was a young guy playing a Electra Les Paul copy through a Peavey Bandit. I think maybe if there is a lesson here, it's something about technique.
Speaking of Electras. I had a Strat copy (blonde) that was an excellent guitar. I let a pipefitter buddy talk me into selling it to him on the condition that I would get first chance to buy it back, if he ever wanted to sell it. I guess he forgot about that last part. I hope it has a good home now. Dang pipefitters. |

Tim the pipefitters get most of the overtime on the jobs I've worked on. They can afford to buy lots of gear |
