I've been using a Shure SM57 mic to grab the output from my Marshall JCM 2000 - DSL 401 and feed that to a mixing console for live performance. This amp has a "Speaker Emulated D.I. Out Jack" that is described as "Line level, emulated output signal for connection into PA or recording Mixing Desks etc.".

Would this output from the amp be the correct impedance for the same mixing console inputs that I have microphones plugged into? We're using impedance matching boxes for acoustic guitars equipped with electric pickups.

TIA,
Glen

benzguy80- From your description I believe the impedance would be correct going from the emulated out to the mixing console. It would probably be helpful to have a line level control at the emulator output on the amp.
