I have a Silvertone 1482 in which I'm running a pair of Hytron 6V6GTY's...... lovely thick, creamy sound.

I also have a THD Univalve, and when I need to run a 6V6, the tube of choice is a Brimar 6V6G.

I also have RCA blackplates which I've used and enjoy. I've tried JJ 6V6's and found them too chimey and 6L6 - like for my tastes.

I'm curious about the Brimar 6V6GTY / CV511. I've seen some very favourable comments about these..... seems that they would suit me.

Would anybody who's used them care to comment on the Brimars please ?
Any general 6V6 chat welcome.
