Hello, my newly aquired AC30/6 from 1961 has no tremolo..the tremolo channel just sounds as flat as the 'normal' input. There's a slight click if I operate the tremolo on/off switch but otherwise plays straight. I've swapped the ECC83 marked 'osc' on the schematic with one of the same in the preamp but still no oscillation!

A strange thing though..if I play and turn off the mains, the tremolo bursts briefly into life as the HT dies!

Any ideas, guys?

OK guys, false alarm, the previous owner had disconnected the tremolo footswitch and forgotton to short it out..hence no tremolo at all. Doh! Now working..!! Lesson...suspect everything and assume nothing!!!
