Hi
New as I am to designing and building these things, I decided to jump in feet first and go straight to designing and building my own amps from scratch, rather than buy kits.
I am based in the UK so 230 - 240v ac @ 50 Hz, and am having no trouble finding suppliers of valves, caps, resistors, pots, speakers... but no joy finding transformers!
I want to build a 20 - 30 watt amp as my first project, three or four 12 ax7s, and either two or four el84s or two 6l6gcs.

Speaker outs at 4, 8 and 16 ohms

I can't find much information that helps me determine the transformers I would need, so hopefully somebody here can help. But I also haven't found anywhere that sells them.
I emailed a few places that said they manufacture transformers, but they only build to order in large runs. Where do you hobbyist / pros buy these things?!?!
