Hi
my name is Benny. Just joined this forum today. Looking for some advice on a nice gig amp. I currently have a Fnder hot rod deluxe. Great amp, but it's really a pain to carry to gigs. Looking for something smaller/lighter but with good sound. Preferably tubes.....
Any recommendations?
Thanks a lot |

best gigging amp for me that fits your requirememnts-tho not tube- was a Crate PowerBlock amp paired with a 1x12 or 1X15 speaker cabinet (when you don't run into the house board/PA) ---toss in a couple pedals of your choice.....you can carry that and your guitars in all at one time & be set up before your bandmates get back from their 2nd trip to the van _________________ ~T~...Live a little >crank it up< ...

Thanks a lot for reccomendation. However, i need a combo. Something i can take to rehearsals/ gigs without being dependent on a PA or an existing cabinet speaker.
What would be the best combo amp for this purpose ? preferably tube but a good SS would also do..... |
