How's it going amp talkers.
I'm looking to buy a Mesa Boogie dual rectifier from America and I was just wondering if there are any issues running a 100watt amp through a transformer as we use 240volts in australia and america uses 120volts. has anyone done this? is it dangerous for the amp... or it's operator?
any help would be great.
thanks

| I don't see any problem at all using a transformer to step down 240V to 120V to run an amp. There is an importer there in Australia so Mesa must supply amps that will handle your voltage. |
