I have been giving away some of my treasures to selected friends and relatives. I'm near enough to the end of my run to go ahead and share some of the junk I've collected over the years. The deal is they can't just sell it for cash and will take care of it. If they decide they don't want it, I get it back.

Back to the pics, shall we?

Another fun amp from our friends at Fender is the Fender 75...

These things are also LOUD! For small venues, these are a great gigging amp.

And yes, I happen to have two of them...

One has a 15" Speaker and the other has a 12". Both are stock.

I don't think I've ever seen a Fender 75 Ajay Tele. What years were they made? What power tubes does it use?

I didn't know much about them either, except that they are a pretty unique area in Fender amps. So your question prompted me to do some research.

They are 1980 - 1982 and appear to be a Paul Rivera design. Power tubes are 6L6. Hand Wired.

Apparently made to complete with Mesa combos (and I can say that I prefer playing the Fender over my Mesas, so they may have been successful as far as I am concerned).

Here's the specs (although I think the speaker spec may be incorrect, so maybe other specs are also questionable...)

How do you like that hi/low power switch? Will the amp sing with it cranked up a bit on the low setting?

The amp is unbelieveably LOUD on low power and if you read some of the reviews and opinions around the internet, the Hi power is almost superfluous...

It is really hard to explain just how loud these small amps are...but I'll try:

They are LOUD Rolling Eyes
