I need to know the speaker wiring for this thing to be sure 2 speakers,wires,white ,red ,black ,and blue I cant get it to sound right.thanks for any help

Rick, you can keep checking back here and maybe someone who owns a Crate G40 will give you the exact wiring. I did a search without any luck. I did get a clue why there are so many wires going to the speakers. Crate must use the speakers as a kind of stereo imagining tied in to the chorus. Try this: Turn the amp down, and being very careful not to short the speaker connectors, work on one speaker at a time. Turn reverb and chorus off. Try maybe white and black or any combination really until you get a good solid tone from the first speaker. Now connect the other two wires to the other speaker and try it. Now to check for proper phasing, reverse the wires to the second speaker. One way will sound much better than the other. Two speaker amps with the speakers out of phase sound awful. Good luck ( Anybody reading this with any Crate two speaker amp with stereo chorus will probably have the same color code. How about taking a look and give Rick a heads up?)
