i'm trying to get a kind of 70's sound with my marshall JCM 900....something like "the clash", that typical punk sound of that time, i guess. is it possible?...does someone have a suggestion. thanx.

I heard Joe strummer used vintage telecasters going through music man amps. A JCM900 and a music man amp are two very different beasts.

you won't get much jangle out of that jcm 900. probably the closest you could get it on the "clean" channel with some gain.
