On the back of my amp is a 16ohm output for the 16 ohm speaker in the cabinet and two further eight ohm outputs for (I assume) two eight ohm speakers or one eight ohm speaker. However, I have just acquired a Laney 4 x 10 eight ohm cab and I would like to run both it and the 16 ohm in the cabinet to combine the open back and closed back tone. How to I achieve this impedence balancing without blowing another valve by plugging the 16 ohm and the eight ohm in simultaneously?
