I recently bought a 3 channel Carvin V3 around 2 weeks ago, its great but there is a slight problem that is annoying me. The light that comes on for channel 3, or the clean channel, dims within 5 mins of me playing through the amp, and the sound also becomes thinner and quieter than the other channels.

Could this be because the preamp tube powering the channel is damaged and should i replace it? i would like someone to shed some light on this since i have no previous experience with tubes.
