Any one care to offer an opinion of value and collectability of a small old Oahu publishing company guitar amp I have. It has a Lansing Manufacturing Company model 126 6" speaker and 3 large tubes. model numbers on paper tag on chassis are not clear but looks like 345K and 107(?)0 . Size is 11" x 8" x 5 1/2". All original good shape but power cord is rotted off so I never tried it out.

Oahu marketed Hawaiian guitars and amps to students with lessons of course.. Back in the day Hawiian music was all the rage and lap steels were built by the 1000's. Some teachers traveled door to door and in the larger cities they would have classes. A bass player I know told me she had liek 30 students in her class in late 40's Tacoma, WA!
The steels and amps were usually made by a jobber and often Valco. The more Art Deco the more valuable. Have it serviced and a new cord added for max potential. I can't put a dollar figure on it but they always surprise me when I see them sell.
