| I'm wanting to know how and where the heck did you guys go to learn about amps and how they work? Were there any books you guys read that were helpful? I'm wanting to learn more so I can maintain amps myself and also be able to biase them myself. Really, I'm just curious as to how you tube amp repair guys learned your trade. |

| Wow, thanks. That's a LOT of material though. Is there anything that you would recommend specifically? I already have the Guitar Amp Handbook. They all look really informative, I'm just a little unsure of which ones to pick. |

There are bounds of info on line and in book form.
As far as books go, 2 of the more popular ones seem to be:
Kevin O'Connor - The Ultimate Tone (start with ver.1)
Dan Torres - Inside Tube Amps
And there are bounds good websites.
Here is a list at ax84:

Check Aiken out for sure - lots of great theory. |

Check out cedistribution
They have a lot of books. The stuff by Tino Zolatta is very good.
Remember, be careful. There are lethal voltages present in those tube amps. |
