Just picked up a 1976(probably) Fender Twin Reverb. Exterior is a little rough(not horrible) and grill will need rebuilding with new cloth. It was never touched electronically besides an xlr input/output(not sure) added and MusicMan speakers put in. I've got a good tech doing a complete tube, lube, and cap job as well as a blackface mod. Any input on value, blackface mod pros and cons, where to get closest to original grillcloth, or what to do with the speakers?

Please forgive my ignorance. I'm in the learning curve, so to speak, but that's why I'm here. Thanks -Jeff-

I have found that www.webervst.com has just about everything you need to get that old Fender up and running and looking nice. It is a very impressive site. Weber speakers as well as Eminence speakers are good replacments. You could also keep the stock ones and have them re-coned for around 50 bucks ea.
