I was thinking, I have a high gain and low gain input, can I plug in a bas guitar in the low gain?
and will it be distorted when I switch the guitar to the distortion channel?
thx

Turn down the volume on your bass, use the low gain jack, keep the amp volume low, and it will probably sound like crap. Amazing difference an octave makes. Bass amps usually sound better with guitars than the other way around. Distortion with bass quickly turns everything to mud. This is just my opinion.(Probably dinosaur-like) Playing a bass through a guitar amp at high volume can damage the amp.
