I want a Fender Blues amp. But I'm game for building one up.

I've built an amp kit before, and enjoyed it. I learned a lot and got good at soldering. I'm also a cabinetmaker; so the crate would be easy for me.

But when it comes to designing an amp, I haven't a clue where to begin.

Are there any kits for a Fender Blues. I like that amp, obviously.

The Ceriatone offerings look good. But they don't have the Fender Blues. . . Or do they? What are those models they have?

About my likes and dislikes:

I'm not stuck on the Fender Blues. I just know it is a very good amp. My mind is totally open right now. I would also consider a Marshall. I had a Ampeg Reverb-o-rocket for many years and parted with it because it was too large. I have only a Crate 15 watt now.

I play a Strat now most of the time. I also have a 335, which I've played for 25 years. I play clean, with some reverb. I have drivers for different effects. I'm after that Fender sound, which I know can come from different amps.

you'd probably be better off just buying something from Frenzel http://www.frenzeltubeamps.com/id16.html and putting it into a cabinet you can make. Cool
