Can anyone help me determine which is the better amp? Do I need to supply the type of sound im looking for?
EDIT: Well im looking for a beginners amp & would like versatility, so as to play vastly differing music. Examples are as follows:
Metallica
Black Label Society
Black Sabbath
Opeth
Pantera
Pearl Jam
Guns N Roses
Cold Chisel
Eagles
CCR
Dire Straits
Crowded House
Split Enz
INXS
Icehouse
Pink Floyd
Bruce Springsteen
Bon Jovi
Led Zepplin
Lacuna Coil
So that would be basically:
Thrash Metal
Gothic Metal
Death Metal
Sludge/ Southern Metal
Grindcore
Heavy Metal
NWOBM
Classic Rock
Hard Rock
Aussie Rock
80's Rock
80's Hair Metal
Grunge

good idea .......of the two, i like the added versatility of the Vox & the speaker sounds better to my ears. _________________ ~T~...Live a little >crank it up< ...

come on now.....they are both solidstate mini amps with digital effects & mini speakers....you're asking for a subjective answer since we all hear different & all have differring opinions regarding sounds/tone/quality.........of the two , I would conclude the Vox is the better amp based on the added features/versatility & slightly larger speaker--(as i already stated)-with the understanding that both choices are what they are & never will really offer up quality tone.--either one could be a fun little amp for a beginner--goodluck. _________________ ~T~...Live a little >crank it up< ...
