I have a pre cbs 65 deluxe reverb that is often, too often shocking me. I want to properly ground it. My tech person says he needs to bypass the ground selector switch, drill a hole in the back panel, (NEVER!) and put in a bright orange or yellow cord. no, no no, Must be a better way.
Suggestions anyone?
THank you

| First off, there is NO reason for the chord to be bright orange! You can go to any electronics outlet and purchas proper black sheilded tripple strand chord. I also think that you can get around the drilling.... by getting another tech! |

Carlos, I was going to look and see how I did this in my Deluxe, but the amp is buried under a bunch of crap, and I'm too lazy to move it all. I know I didn't drill nothing (the amp can be put back just like it was), I used a black 3 conductor cord and I think I by-passed the polariaty switch.
I think I need a bigger house or less treasures. |
